Presonus Digimax LT 8-Channel Mic Preamp

These are truly undervalued boxes. A/B them with any of your favorite preamps and you'll understand why I say that. They're especially good on drums and bass.

Big toroidal power supply built in to the box, XLR/TRS input plugs, pad and phantom buttons on the front channel where they belong, can lock to external clock and deliver 44.1 or 48k Lightpipe. The weirdest thing about the box is that the Lightpipe output is really the only useful one, as the TRS jacks on the back are inserts. You can get the preamp output out of these jacks, but you have to do some wiring or leave the TRS plugs half-inserted.

Bottom line, they sound good. I have two of them in identical condition, don't need them anymore as all my recording needs are being handled by the new PreSonus 32R.
